Light Electrical Assembly Technician — Full Time ($16.00/hr)
We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Light Electrical Assembly Technician to join our production team. This full‑time role focuses on assembling, wiring, and inspecting light electrical components used in our products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with hand tools, following instructions, and maintaining consistent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components, sub‑assemblies, and wiring according to work instructions and schematics
- Perform basic soldering, crimping, stripping, and termination of wires
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and functionality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and report any issues to supervision
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining high quality
- Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed
Qualifications
- Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and labels
- Comfortable using basic hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and steady hand coordination
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable attendance and positive work attitude
Schedule & Compensation
- Full‑time position
- $16.00 per hour
- Standard daytime shift (exact hours can be added if needed)
- Opportunities for overtime depending on production needs
- We look for people that are dependable, show up every day, and strive to increase their knowledge of our industry as there is quite a bit of training in the first 3 months. Employees who show initiative, competency, and exceed expectations will receive a compensation increase to $17+ after the first 90 days.
