Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential units, common areas, and outdoor spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
- Implement sanitation protocols to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met across all surfaces and floors
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Dust surfaces regularly and clean windows, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a high standard of cleanliness
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture during deep cleans or outdoor work
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cleaning needs and schedule adjustments to enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work with knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and dusting tools
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while following proper safety protocols
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, outdoor work, and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing and maintenance of various flooring types
- Experience with cleaning surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and outdoor areas is preferred
