Hope House is a long-term residential recovery program for women and their children in Augusta. We're hiring an LPN for a weekend-focused position — Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 12-hour shifts — with a built-in Saturday rotation once a month so you're not locked into every weekend indefinitely.
This is not a hospital floor. It's a residential setting where you are the consistent clinical presence for women rebuilding their lives. The work is meaningful, the team is small, and the schedule is one you can actually plan your life around.
What this job looks like day to day:
- Conducting medication passes and supervising self-administration per physician orders
- Performing drug screens and maintaining documentation in the electronic health record
- Responding to participant health questions within scope of practice
- Assisting with clinic appointments and coordinating with physicians
- Calling in prescriptions and scheduling referrals to primary care and specialty providers
- Providing first aid and determining when additional medical intervention is needed
- Maintaining medication cart and medical office in compliance with DBHDD regulations
The schedule:
- Thursday: 8:00am–8:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am–7:00pm
- Saturday: 7:00am–7:00pm
- One Wednesday per month (8:00am–8:00pm) rotates in place of Saturday — published in advance, not called week to week
You'll be a strong fit if you:
- Hold an active Georgia LPN license
- Have experience in women's health, behavioral health, OB/GYN, or substance use — preferred but not required
- Are comfortable working independently as the primary clinical staff on shift
- Want a predictable schedule that gives you your weekdays back
Requirements:
- Active Georgia LPN license (required)
- EMR experience
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work on your feet for the majority of a 12-hour shift
