About Us:

Our Early Learner program is designed specifically for young students, typically ages 3–6, to build foundational skills through guided learning.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a patient, nurturing, and energetic Early Learning Assistant to support our youngest learners as they begin their Kumon journey. This role involves working closely with preschool and early elementary-aged students, helping them with basic reading, number recognition, pencil skills, and focus development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist young students (typically ages 3–6) with early reading and math activities
- Guide students through simple worksheets and hands-on learning tasks
- Encourage focus, independence, and confidence in a positive manner
- Maintain a calm and structured environment tailored to early learners
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the Instructor
- Prepare and organize early learning materials
- Support the Instructor with light administrative and classroom tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children (preschool or early elementary age) is strongly preferred
- High school diploma or current high school student (junior or senior with childcare experience)
- Friendly, patient, and nurturing demeanor
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with young children
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Interest in early childhood education is a plus
