Duties
- Prepare pizza dough from scratch, ensuring proper consistency and texture
- Select and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
- Apply food safety sanitizing procedures consistently to maintain a clean work environment
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect crusts and toppings
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or toppings based on customer preferences
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or supply needs
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety management standards
- Support the team during high-volume production periods, maintaining quality and speed
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments, preferably with pizza or similar cuisine
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and knives with precision and safety awareness
- Familiarity with recipe adherence, meal preparation, and food production processes in a fast-paced setting
- Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated skills in grilling, braising, poaching, or other cooking techniques are a plus
- Strong knife skills and high-volume production experience are highly valued in this role

Pay: $25.49 - $30.69 per hour
