We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs, including diagnostic evaluations and intake procedures.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, art therapy, or motivational interviewing tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
- Deliver individual, group, or family counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, addiction counseling, crisis intervention, and conflict management.
- Implement behavioral health strategies to support patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, or gender issues counseling.
- Collect and document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Collaborate with case management teams and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and monitor progress through data collection and ongoing evaluation.
- Provide crisis management and crisis intervention when urgent mental health or behavioral issues arise, ensuring safety for clients and staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of social work principles and patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and familiarity with electronic health records systems.
- Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring special education services is highly preferred.
- Training in behavioral therapy techniques, or trauma-informed care such as PTSD care is advantageous.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, case management, and crisis intervention.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities.
- Certification or licensure in relevant fields such as licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or equivalent is required.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
