We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of pizza preparation techniques. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas that meet our customers' expectations.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including work surfaces and cooking utensils.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle cash register operations and process customer orders accurately in the POS system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any special requests or concerns.
Skills
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or similar roles.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with operating cash registers and POS systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in cafés, grocery stores, or sales is a plus.
- Skills in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas are beneficial.
