Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automotive electrical systems
- Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and effectively address mechanical problems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become serious problems.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Use power tools and equipment safely and effectively during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Align wheels and perform other adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Skills
- Proficient in maintaining various automotive systems, including electrical systems and powertrain components.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine repair techniques.
- Experience as a mechanic with hands-on knowledge of auto body repair is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
- Familiarity with using power tools safely in an automotive environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
