We're seeking an experienced and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This is a local driving position where you'll start your day at 7:00 AM, complete deliveries and pickups within a 50-100-mile radius, and return home every night.
Unlike many CDL opportunities, this role does not involve overnight travel, long-haul routes, or extended time away from home. For drivers looking to earn additional income, there are opportunities for approximately 10 hours of voluntary overtime each week, including occasional Saturday work.

What You'll Do
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Complete local deliveries and pickups
- Secure and transport materials in compliance with DOT regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading when needed
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain electronic logs and required paperwork
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Support yard and facility operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Manual transmission experience
- Roll-off or tractor-trailer experience
- At least 24 months of Class A driving experience within the past 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 3 years
- Registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Comfortable using electronic logging systems and mobile devices
Preferred
- Experience with loading/unloading equipment
- Background in recycling, construction, manufacturing, transportation, or industrial environments
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
Work Environment
This position works in an active industrial recycling facility and may include:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment
- Occasional overtime and Saturday work
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Walk, stand, bend, climb, push, and pull regularly
- Operate commercial vehicles safely for extended periods
