Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic School, a parochial PreK-8th grade school, located in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a full-time teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Our school serves a ethnically and economically diverse community, drawn together by our shared Catholic faith. Our students speak 12 languages at home and come to us from 25 different zip codes. The faculty are committed to helping families rise out of the cycle of poverty through the quality education we provide to children.
Duties include: establishing appropriate learning objectives; implementing the Diocesan curriculum using a variety of research-based teaching strategies; and evaluating student progress. The ideal candidate has: a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, experience teaching, strong classroom management techniques, and effective communication skills. Candidates should be passionate about education and have a love for the students. Qualifications include: a bachelor's degree in education or related field and Virginia state licensure or the ability to obtain VCEA certificaton. Salary is competitive and based on experience. We can also offer employment to supplement income and experience in our Summer Camp.
