Now Hiring: After-School STEM Instructors in Kaneohe
Hawaii Robotics is looking for enthusiastic and creative teachers to lead our after-school STEM enrichment programs! We offer engaging, hands-on courses in Robotics, Coding, AI for Kidz, STEM Explorers, and Little Medical School.
No extensive experience is required—we provide training for all new hires. What matters most is a passion for working with children and the ability to make learning fun and inspiring. Prior teaching experience or knowledge in STEM or health fields is a plus.
Pay is $40- $50 per class, depending on experience.
Our Programs
- Robotics: Students design, build, and program robots using LEGO bricks and software.
- Coding: Students create video games, animations, and digital projects while learning real coding skills.
- AI for Kidz: A beginner-friendly introduction to artificial intelligence concepts, helping kids explore how AI powers the world around them through fun, hands-on projects.
- Animation Studio: Students learn to make cartoons.
- STEM Explorers: A variety of exciting experiments and challenges across science, technology, engineering, and math that spark curiosity and problem-solving.
- Little Medical School: Inspires future doctors through role play, hands-on experiments, and engaging activities.
Program Details
- Classes are held at elementary schools across the island.
- Teachers must have reliable transportation to travel between schools.
- Programs run during Fall and Spring semesters, starting around 1:30–2:30 PM.
- Each teaching day is typically 1 hour, with assignments at a few schools weekly.
- Additional opportunities, such as summer camps, are available.
Job Requirements
- Experience teaching or working with children
- Must have a car and reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Background in coding, engineering, health, or STEM a plus
- Fun, engaging, and creative personality
- Punctual, responsible, and professional
