We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Day Computer Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching various computer-related subjects to students of different skill levels, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in today’s technology-driven world.
Duties
- Deliver engaging lesson plans that cover essential computer concepts, and software applications.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Stay current with technological advancements and integrate new tools into the curriculum as appropriate.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students needing extra help with course material.
- Collaborate with other instructors to develop interdisciplinary projects that incorporate technology across various subjects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Perferred knowledge of Blackboard
- Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of computer systems and software applications.
- Ability to engage students of varying skill levels and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
Hours Monday-Friday 8:30AM-3:30PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
