Friendly, Smiling Host/ess Wanted in Upscale, Fine Dining Restaurant
Exclusive team looking for a new addition. Ports of Call is a unique, upscale restaurant with lots of character. We are looking to add a team member with exceptional energy, attention to detail, hospitality, communication and decision making skills.
We are searching for an experienced host who is able to
- Greet guests warmly
- Follow rotational seating in a 17 table restaurant with a full bar
- Answer phone calls, voicemails, and record reservations accurately
- Utilize Seating Pad for making reservation, managing online reservations, make changes in seating, and other tasks
- Have a basic understanding of menus and specials
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills
- Quickly and effectively solve problems
- Interact with guests in a positive and inviting way
- Effectively communicate with team/guests
- Perform side work tasks
- Help to open and close restaurant
- Help ensure safety and security of facilities, guests and co-workers
- Arrive to work with punctuality, dressed professionally, and with a positive attitude
- Must be available evenings/weekends/holidays
- Set schedule available, flexibility preferred
- Two years experience preferred but not required
- Uniform- No required uniform. Dress is business casual, express your individuality in a professional way.
- Pay- Pay is competitive, based on experience. $13-$16 per hour.
- Helps with Bussing
- Hours- Dinner Shifts are 4 pm-closing. Generally about 5 hours each. Flexible scheduling. Lunch and Brunch Shifts may also be available
- Pay- Pay is bi-weekly.
