- Compensation: $19 per hour, pays every Thursday
- Weekly Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm (30min1hr lunch)

Growing national Property Management Company is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant for their multi-family property. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing leasing operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards. This position requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by understanding their needs and preferences.
- Conduct property tours, highlighting features and amenities to attract potential renters.
- Manage leasing paperwork and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while maintaining company policies and legal standards.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure that properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities.
- Provide administrative support related to legal documentation and office tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year in apartment leasing
- Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
- Proficiency in using Yardi, OneSite or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Proficient with MS Office with competent general computer skills
- Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
- Customer-focused approach
- Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal communication skills
- Must pass criminal background check
