Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Supervise and motivate staff, including training new team members and conducting ongoing staff development
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Monitor inventory control, food safety procedures, and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, managing customer flow, and resolving operational issues promptly
- Contribute to food production planning, catering services, and special event setups such as banquets or parties
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and training & development initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and interviewing skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, inventory control, and food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality management settings including casual dining, fine dining, catering or banquet environments is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shift operations efficiently
- Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial roles in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash reconciliation and profit analysis; culinary or kitchen management experience is a plus
- Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm for customer service excellence and team leadership
