Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all areas, ensuring timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality control, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and custodial equipment to optimize operational efficiency
- Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms
- Develop work schedules that meet staffing needs while maximizing productivity and maintaining high service levels
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly with professionalism and a focus on resolution
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or hotel housekeeping management with a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members effectively
- Excellent management skills including scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance
- Knowledge of janitorial practices, commercial cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and hospitality standards
- Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities seamlessly
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments effectively
