Key Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Active and valid California credential with BCBA authorization
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt effectively to varying caseload sizes and needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Monitor and analyze student data to inform interventions and adjust plans as needed
- Provide training and ongoing support to school personnel regarding behavioral interventions
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Support students’ academic and social success through targeted behavioral support
