We are growing! We are in search of an energetic and detail-oriented Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Admin Specialist to join our accounting team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, overseeing accounts payable functions, and providing essential administrative support. Your expertise will ensure organization, accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll using a specialized software designed for Construction Companies. Ensuring timely and accurate pay disbursements while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
- Manage accounts payable activities including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain meticulous records of financial transactions, ensuring data entry accuracy with proficiency in Excel formulas and spreadsheet management for data analysis.
- Support benefits administration tasks related to payroll deductions and employee records within Human Resources.
- Assist with administrative duties including document filing, correspondence handling, meeting coordination, and confidential information management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with familiarity in accounting systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with payroll management systems preferred, however for the right person, this can be taught.
- Knowledge of accounts payable automation tools and invoice processing procedures to streamline workflows.
- Ability to analyze financial data using Excel data analysis techniques and advanced spreadsheet functions.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of handling confidential information discreetly.
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments including human resources and accounting teams.

Pay: $26.73 - $30.15 per hour
