Tri-County Ace Handyman Services is seeking a skilled craftsman to handle a variety of residential repair, maintenance, and light remodeling projects in the Seneca area. In this role, you will help local homeowners maintain and improve their properties. This position exists to bridge the gap between homeowners needing trusted help and highly skilled professionals who want to focus on their craft rather than marketing, scheduling, and billing. - Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on your level of experience

On a day-to-day basis, you will arrive at scheduled residential jobs on time, assess the scope of work, and perform the necessary repairs. You will interact directly with homeowners, explaining the process clearly and keeping them informed. You will complete your tasks cleanly and efficiently, leaving the workspace in better condition than you found it.
Over time, success in this role means building a reputation for reliability and quality workmanship within the community. You will help maintain our high customer satisfaction ratings, manage your daily schedule independently, and work collaboratively with our office support team to ensure jobs are completed on time and within scope.
- Perform a wide variety of home repairs, including carpentry, drywall patching, painting, tile work, and flooring installation.
- Handle basic plumbing and electrical maintenance, such as replacing light fixtures, repairing running toilets, or changing out faucets.
- Install household fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and finish carpentry items.
- Troubleshoot unexpected home repair issues and determine the most effective, lasting solutions.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project to ensure their expectations are met.
- Maintain accurate job documentation using our digital tools and complete work efficiently.
- Proven experience as a carpenter, craftsman, or professional handyman.
- Broad hands-on knowledge across multiple trades, specifically carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Ownership of a standard set of professional hand and power tools.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Clear, professional communication skills when speaking with clients.
- Experience performing home inspections or creating job estimates.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role within the home services industry.
