Assists with facilitating a variety of summer programs for children ages 3-17.
- Involved in a variety of summer camp programs and special activities with children ages 3-17.
- Leads a variety of physical activities, games, and craft projects while maintaining a safe and fun environment.
- Monitor games, activities and trips to ensure safety of patrons. Enforces discipline, policies and procedures, and proper use of equipment.
- Serves as a role model and promotes positive behaviors and attitudes while maintaining constructive relationships with participants and colleagues.
- Assists with Summer Food Service Program meal preparation and service.
- Prepares program materials, assists with room setup and cleanup, and secures equipment.
- Maintains facility cleanliness and assists with custodial duties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED

Experience working with youth, at least six months, preferred
Knowledge:

General knowledge physical activity, group games, and arts and crafts.

General knowledge of programs and activities appropriate for ages 3-17.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Worker is exposed to temperature changes, noise, odors, dust and strenuous physical activity.
