True North HealthWorks is seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to bring our company mascot, Kenzo the Turtle, to life. As the face of our brand at community events, conferences, school visits, healthcare outreach events, and social media content, Kenzo helps spread positivity, promote healthy communities, and create memorable experiences for audiences of all ages.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys entertaining others, isn't afraid to be the center of attention, and can represent the True North HealthWorks mission with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Essential Responsibilities
- Wear and perform in the Kenzo Turtle mascot costume during scheduled events.
- Engage with children, families, healthcare professionals, and community members in a fun and friendly manner.
- Perform trending dances and participate in social media videos and promotional campaigns.
- Pose for photos and interact with attendees while remaining in character.
- Assist with community outreach events, health fairs, conferences, school visits, and company celebrations.
- Promote the True North HealthWorks brand through positive, energetic interactions.
- Maintain the mascot costume by following proper care and handling procedures.
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready for all scheduled appearances.
- Follow safety guidelines while performing in the mascot costume, including taking scheduled breaks and maintaining awareness of surroundings.
- Work closely with the marketing and event team to create engaging experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in theater, dance, cheer, entertainment, or mascot performance.
- Experience working community events or with children.
- Comfortable participating in videos and promotional content.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to wear a full-body mascot costume for up to 30–45 minutes at a time with scheduled breaks.
- Ability to stand, walk, dance, bend, wave, and move continuously during appearances.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Availability to work scheduled mascot appearances, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Fun, energetic, and outgoing personality.
- Comfortable performing in front of crowds of all sizes.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and trending dances (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.).
- Excellent non-verbal communication skills and expressive body language.
- Reliable transportation to event locations.
- Ability to follow directions and represent the organization professionally.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
