American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, including heart and lung transplant and trauma case experience.

CVOR setting within a hospital environment

Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
-
Heart and lung transplant cases are a core part of this role

Trauma cases are also part of the patient caseload
-
Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Experience with heart and lung transplants required

Trauma case experience required

Level 2 OR experience required; Level 1 experience preferred

2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Completed skills checklist required for consideration

Clean licensure history required — no licensure hits accepted

Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
