American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care, Level I Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of experience and active CNMT certification.

Acute care hospital setting within a dedicated Nuclear Medicine department

Level I Trauma Center

Equipment includes Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM gamma cameras; training provided for those without prior experience on these systems

Epic EMR used in this position

5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience

Active BLS certification required; pending certifications not accepted

Active CNMT certification via NMTCB required; pending certifications not accepted

DOT certification preferred at start; required within 90 days if extended

State or Compact (NLC) Nuclear Medicine license required if applicable; must be active — pending licenses not accepted

A valid driver's license is required for consideration

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Radiation badge provided by the facility

Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to remove them may result to contract termination

Candidates may not currently be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health

Candidates who were not directly employed but worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
