Continental Express Inc., is a full service transportation company that specializes in hauling refrigerated food products with a fleet of 550 trucks and 1300 trailers. We have a current need for a Refrigeration Technician to service and repair commercial refrigeration units on our fleet of trailers.
* Schedule will be Monday to Friday from 4:30pm to 1:00am *
Primary Duties:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of systems
- Repair or replace defective components in refrigeration systems
- Test system performance and make necessary adjustments
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of refrigeration systems
- Proficient in using tools and equipment related to refrigeration repair
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and principles
- Must provide own hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
