Design-Build Scheduling Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design-Build Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team. This critical role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling landscape design-build projects across three branch locations: Hamburg, Kingsley, and Indian River.
The Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring projects move smoothly from design completion to field execution by aligning timelines, crews, materials, and equipment. This position works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize resources, maintain accurate schedules, and support successful project delivery.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hamburg, MI.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive scheduling system for all design-build projects.
- Coordinate project timelines, crew availability, material deliveries, and equipment utilization across multiple branch locations.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between design, sales, project management, and field operations teams.
- Communicate project start dates, milestones, and schedule updates clearly and consistently.
- Monitor active projects and proactively identify scheduling conflicts or potential delays.
- Collaborate with management to recommend and implement scheduling solutions.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project schedules and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure all required permits, plans, and pre-construction preparations are completed prior to scheduling field work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scheduling, coordination, or project support in construction, landscape, or design-build environments.
- Knowledge of landscape design-build processes and construction timelines.
- Familiarity with multi-location operations or resource coordination.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools, project management software, or similar systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Hamburg, Kingsley, and Indian River service areas is helpful but not required.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
