Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will keep our operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you'll operate various types of heavy equipment, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and organize goods. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure accurate order picking and shipping & receiving processes. Duties
- Safely operate forklifts such as reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials.
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks to move products within the warehouse efficiently.
- Assist with order picking using <PERSON> pick techniques to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other heavy machinery to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring proper storage practices.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all warehouse activities to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing.
- Familiarity with warehouse supervision practices and experience in warehouse management or distribution roles.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting of forklifts and other machinery.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and shipment documentation.
- Excellent materials handling skills with a focus on heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and safe operation of lift trucks.
