Qualifications
Required
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience teaching literacy and mathematics
- Knowledge of child development and effective instructional practices
- Ability to develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned curriculum
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (highly desired)
- Valid Teaching Certification (highly desired)
- Previous elementary teaching experience
- Experience supporting students with special education needs
- Experience working with students with autism
- Proficiency using educational technology and digital learning tools
- Strong collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
Fourth grade is a year when students begin thinking more deeply, working more independently, and taking greater ownership of their learning. They tackle increasingly complex reading and math concepts, develop stronger writing skills, and learn to apply knowledge across multiple subject areas.
As a Fourth Grade Teacher, you'll help students build confidence, resilience, and the academic skills needed for success in upper elementary and beyond.
