Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Support team members during busy hours by coordinating with kitchen staff and other front-of-house personnel
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Experience with fine dining or nightclub service environments is preferred
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Effective communication skills to engage with guests and team members professionally
- Knowledge of food industry standards including serving etiquette, food preparation basics, and hospitality principles
