Join our dynamic team as a Sand Hauler, where you will be the vital link in transporting bulk sand materials efficiently and safely to construction sites, industrial facilities, and other designated locations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of specialized trucks, including dump trucks and roll-off trucks, ensuring timely delivery and seamless load & unload operations. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers to haul sand loads across designated routes
- Load and unload materials accurately using forklifts or truck-mounted equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Drive various types of trailers including flatbed, tanker, and endumps as needed for different delivery requirements
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, including proper securing of loads and adherence to transportation laws
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption and vehicle wear
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) with endorsements appropriate for the vehicles operated (e.g., manual transmission experience preferred)
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with freight hauling, route driving, or delivery operations involving heavy equipment
- Familiarity with operating specialized trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, tanker trucks, refrigerated trailers, or roll-off trucks
- Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other lifting equipment when necessary
- Experience with freight handling including securing loads and managing different trailer types
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and material transportation
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform vehicle inspections or load adjustments as needed
