Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for a night shift opportunity in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting automated equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has experience working with conveyor systems, PLCs, and high-speed automated machinery.
Shift:
Multiple evening/ night shifts available
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems and automated equipment
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues
- Maintain motors, belts, rollers, sensors, and control systems
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Minimize downtime by responding quickly to equipment failures
- Document maintenance activities and completed repairs
- Work closely with operations to ensure equipment efficiency
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing, distribution, or logistics preferred)
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems and automated equipment
- Working knowledge of PLCs (troubleshooting required; programming a plus)
- Experience with high-speed automation strongly preferred
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and motor controls
- Ability to work independently on night shift
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
Preferred Experience:
- High-speed sortation or automated distribution equipment
- PLC systems such as Allen Bradley or Siemens
- Experience in large-scale production or logistics environments
