Under the direct supervision of the Court Administrator, this position maintains a security station and/or patrols the Court Building to prevent unauthorized activity; assists in other security activities as assigned. Wage offer will be based on experience and will not exceed the mid-point of the salary/wage range.

High school or GED equivalent is required and one (1) year of experience in a security related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work. Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and be able to meet the Community's insurance carrier requirements. Must successfully complete and pass a background check.
Additional Requirement:

Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification within thirty (30) days from date of hire.

Must obtain and maintain certification in the use of non-lethal security equipment (i.e., handcuffs, O.C. Spray, etc. ) within six (6) months from date of hire.
