Overview
The Program Manager’s main responsibility is to coordinate and complete assigned projects on time, within budget and within scope.
The program manager is the point of contact with customers to receive and relay critical information required in the completion of the required scope of work awarded to our company.
It is imperative that the Program Manager maintains a professional relationship with our customers and conducts themselves with the highest moral character when representing the company.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working with Estimating in contract review of newly awarded purchase order
- Receives customer supplied information logs and stores correctly per established procedures.
- Analyzes customer furnished information and schedules job kick off meeting with Estimating, Shop Management and Purchasing. Reviews scope of work, proposed work order, proposed timeline/router. Final decision is made at conclusion of meeting.
- Creates timeline/router for every job (including jobs that are a day turn around), deadlines and finalizes work orders for required engineering and manufacturing work flow throughout internal/external departments in a timely manner that meets company and customer requirements for quality, and budgeted costs.
- Contacts customers with requests for any missing information required to complete the scope of work they have contracted.
- Ensures that work orders are correctly issued and contain all pertinent information, engineering levels, and material requirements. Also ensures they contain a clear scope of work to be accomplished.
- Ensures manufacturing processes are working to correct engineering levels, and quality requirements are clearly understood.
- Must write up engineering change quote letters for existing work and submit within 3 days.
- Responsible for writing the work order router for engineering changes details and communicating to Shop Management
- Coordinates with Purchasing Manager to order required materials and outsourced operations per BOM
- Responsible for outsourcing all material/outside suppliers from original work order staying underbudget and on time. If applicable Program Manager must adjust material and labor budgets in work order. Must keep labor hour budget feasible for shop floor to hit this target
- Responsible for updating job completion tracking and open purchase order list on a weekly basis
- Responsible for informing Eng. Coordinator to start processing invoicing based on payment terms with Office Manager
- Attends first part approvals throughout each manufacturing process.
- Contacts customers to schedule, and is present at, all related review and buyoff meetings.
- Provides direction to department managers as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
