Superintendent – Utah / Western U.S.
HHI Corporation is looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on construction projects valued up to $20 million. This position will work closely with Project Managers and Senior Superintendents to keep projects on schedule, maintain high standards for safety and quality, and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and field personnel.
The ideal candidate is an organized, dependable, and strong communicator who can confidently manage a jobsite and build effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, government personnel, and project teams. Federal construction experience is preferred, and the position requires the ability to travel throughout the Western U.S.

Oversee daily jobsite administration and field operations.

Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and direct labor.

Manage and monitor subcontractor schedules, quality, coordination, and performance.

Assist with developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules.

Manage the direct labor force and maintain positive onsite working relationships.

Maintain a safe, secure, and productive jobsite.

Oversee project Quality Control requirements.

Prepare accurate daily reports and project documentation.

Build and maintain professional relationships with owners, design professionals, government personnel, building officials, and local agencies.

Communicate clearly and professionally with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, owners, and Corporate Safety.

OSHA 30-hour certification required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Must meet applicable government security clearance requirements.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Valid driver's license and good driving record; must be insurable through the company.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Federal government construction experience.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers training or experience.

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

LEED training.
-
Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Primavera Expedition.

Bluebeam experience.

Strong knowledge of construction scheduling.
Travel: This position may require travel throughout the Western U.S., including projects west of the Mississippi River.
