Pay: $10–$12/hour (based on experience)
Location: 305 STATE HWY 31E, STE 300, CHANDLER, TX 75758
Schedule:
- Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- 8-hour shifts

What You'll Do
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet every customer with a friendly, professional attitude
- Build product knowledge across vape, hemp, glass, accessories, and tobacco to recommend the right product
- Upsell and cross-sell to increase basket size and hit daily sales goals
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and returns professionally
- Build repeat customers through strong service and product knowledge
POS & Cash Handling
- Operate POS system accurately for cash, card, and digital payments
- Open and close registers — count cash drawer at start and end of shift
- Balance daily sales reports and submit deposit logs
- Handle refunds and voids only with manager approval
- Follow all anti-theft and loss prevention procedures
Compliance & ID Verification
- Verify customer ID for every age-restricted sale — no exceptions, no shortcuts
- Refuse sale to anyone under 21 or showing suspicious/fake ID
- Follow Texas 25 TAC Chapter 300 hemp compliance rules
- Ensure only COA-verified hemp products are sold
- Maintain proper labeling and warning signage at all times
- Report any compliance concerns directly to management
- Stay alert for underage attempts, secondary sales, and scam customers
Inventory & Stocking
- Receive shipments, verify counts against invoices, and flag discrepancies
- Restock shelves, refill displays, and rotate stock (FIFO)
- Conduct weekly inventory counts using barcode scanner
- Notify management of low stock and fast-moving SKUs
- Organize back stock room and keep inventory areas clean
- Properly tag and price new products before they hit the floor
Store Operations & Cleanliness
- Keep the store clean, stocked, and presentable at all times
- Clean counters, glass cases, floors, restrooms, and entry area daily
- Take out trash and break down boxes
- Maintain organized displays — no empty shelves, no dust, no clutter
- Ensure all signage, posters, and price tags are current and visible
- Lock up store properly during open/close procedures
Security & Loss Prevention
- Monitor store for shoplifters and suspicious activity
- Keep an eye on security cameras during shift
- Never leave register or store unattended
- Follow cash drop and safe procedures
- Report all incidents (theft, breakage, accidents) to management immediately
- Handle scam attempts (fake bills, card scams, return scams) per company policy
Team & Communication
- Communicate clearly with shift lead, supervisor, and other team members
- Follow the schedule — show up on time, every shift
- No unauthorized shift swaps without manager approval
- Complete shift handoff notes for the next cashier
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Support new hires when needed
Other Duties
- Assist with promotional setups, sales events, and seasonal displays
- Help post store updates on Google, Facebook, or in-store signage when needed
- Follow all employee policies (dress code, phone use, breaks)
- Any additional duties assigned by management
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Must be 21 years or older (Texas law)
- Valid government-issued ID
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math and POS/computer skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented
Preferred:
- Prior retail or cashier experience
- Knowledge of vape, hemp, or tobacco products
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience with inventory management or barcode scanning
