We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician experienced in peripheral vascular procedures and embolization cases for our modern, well-established outpatient center.
Responsibilities
- Surgical/scrub assist in peripheral angiography and embolization cases
- Prepare procedure room and equipment in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures
- Assist with preparing the patient for the surgical procedure by positioning and prepping.
- Has detailed knowledge of peripheral vascular and embolization procedures and products
- Excellent sterile technique
- Knowledge of imaging equipment operation
- Knowledge of peripheral vascular products including specialty wires, catheters, angioplasty balloons, stents and embolics
- Excellent team communication
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy related to the vascular system.
- Experience in a peripheral vascular or interventional radiology setting
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification required
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
