Overview
We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to assist our elderly family member a few hours a day with daily living activities as needed. Your dedication and caregiving skills will make a meaningful difference in her life. This rewarding role involves providing personalized assistance to promote independence, safety, and comfort to our loved one in the privacy of her home.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, recognizing changes, and reporting findings accurately in medical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR systems).
- Administer medications following home healthcare regulations and ensure proper medication management.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards while communicating effectively with clients and healthcare teams.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for client.
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in patient care for geriatric patients .
- Knowledge of home health care assistance, medical documentation, and medical records management.
- Familiarity with CPR certification, first aid training, and basic life support (BLS).
- Experience working within home & community care settings while adhering to home health care regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
