At V & F Paving, we specialize in high-quality municipal and commercial projects across Connecticut. We take pride in our precision, safety, and compliance. We’re looking for a Foremen/Operator to oversee and assist in the execution of mutiple projects
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field operations.
- Operate heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, skid steers, grader) as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and local municipal specifications.
- Coordinate with municipal inspectors, subcontractors, and crews to maintain schedule and quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, grade sheets, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to verify materials, safety compliance, and workmanship.
- Track project progress, document quantities, and communicate updates daily to project management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete, paving, and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency operating heavy equipment and managing field crews.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- Strong leadership skills
