Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food safety practices including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with quick service or fast-food restaurant operations is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order totaling are necessary for accurate transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen experience will help you excel in this role
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service standards
