Job Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM/ $80K for first three months, potential for $100K in commissions
Job Description:
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience within the flooring industry (distribution or manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of hardwood, LVP, laminate, and molding products
- Established relationships with flooring dealers or contractors in South Florida preferred Miami territory.
- Bilingual is desire.
- Proven track record of territory growth and account development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Associate degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory growth plan targeting flooring retailers, contractors, and builders
- Prospect and open new dealer accounts within the assigned territory
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through consistent in-person visits and relationship building
- Conduct showroom presentations and product training on hardwood, LVP, laminate, and molding lines
- Prepare and follow up on quotes to close sales opportunities
- Take and process flooring orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with internal operations to confirm product availability, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction
- Reactivate dormant accounts and identify upselling opportunities
- Stay current on flooring trends, pricing strategies, and competitor offerings
- Represent the company with professionalism and industry expertise
