Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic child development.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and social interaction.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and encourage cooperative behavior among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates.
- Conduct assessments aligned with early childhood education standards and standardized testing protocols to monitor each child's growth.
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certification, and childcare licensing requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, demonstrating strong classroom experience and child development instruction skills.
- Background in curriculum development with knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and literacy education.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies, classroom management best practices, and working with students of various developmental stages such as toddlers and preschoolers.
- Experience teaching physical education activities, math concepts, or tutoring young learners is highly desirable.
- Prior involvement in private school or daycare environments is preferred; experience with childhood welfare programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration; ability to follow mandated reporting laws diligently.

Monday - Friday 9-6pm
Monday - Friday 8-5pm

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
