JOB DESCRIPTION Lab Technician (4852)
Location: East Houston, TX area
Position Summary:
The Lab Technician is responsible for analyzing routine and non-routine samples in the laboratory.
Essential Functions:
Receive and store samples in appropriate areas
Prepare glass ware and samples for analysis
Conduct quality checks on equipment
Utilize a variety of instrumentation to analyze petroleum samples
Instrumentation can include but is not limited to ICP, distillations, Karl Fischer, viscosity, FTIR, pour point, etc
Qualifications:
Skills and Abilities:
Must have strong attention to detail
Must be able to multi-task and stay organized
Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Salary:
$19-$20/hr Based on Experience
