Trustpoint is proud to partner with a nationally respected law firm in its search for a Legal Support Specialist to join its Corporate and Business Practice team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced legal administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated corporate matters. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the legal support team, providing high-level administrative, client service, and operational support to multiple timekeepers.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, format, proofread, and finalize a wide variety of legal and business documents, correspondence, agreements, and signature packets
- Coordinate electronic signature workflows and document execution processes
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate conference calls, and arrange client events while proactively addressing scheduling conflicts
- Open new matters and assist with client intake procedures, including engagement documentation, conflict-related materials, and other new business requirements
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records, ensuring client and matter information remains accurate and current
- Prepare, review, and process attorney time entries, expense reimbursements, vendor payments, and accounting-related requests in accordance with firm policies
- Assist with billing functions, including prebill review, invoice preparation, and client billing support
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries
- Support attorneys with bar admissions, licensing renewals, continuing legal education tracking, and related compliance requirements
- Conduct basic legal, business, and public records research as requested
- Partner with internal departments to coordinate mailings, document production projects, courier services, and other administrative requests
- Utilize client relationship management tools to support business development initiatives and relationship tracking
- Serve as a resource to junior team members and provide guidance on administrative procedures and best practices
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, technology rollouts, and workflow enhancement projects
- Provide additional administrative and legal support as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of legal administrative experience within a law firm, corporate legal department, or professional services environment
- Experience supporting attorneys in a corporate, transactional, business, or related legal practice preferred
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, law firm procedures, and client service expectations
- Excellent proofreading, organizational, and document management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional certification preferred

Compensation:
- Legal Support Assistant: $72,800 – $80,080 annually
- Legal Support Specialist: $80,080 – $97,760 annually
- Senior Legal Support Specialist: $98,800 – $121,680 annually
