Job Overview:
Join our energetic Great Clips team in Sioux Falls at our 26th Street and Marion Road salon as a Hair Stylist, where your talent for beauty and commitment to outstanding customer service truly stand out. In this role, you’ll design eye‑catching hairstyles, deliver skilled barbering services, and create personalized looks that elevate confidence and style. Every guest who sits in your chair will feel the impact of your expertise and creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert haircutting and styling services
- Create an exceptional guest experience
- Perform essential hair care services including shampooing and styling. (We do not perform any coloring or perm services)
- Recommend professional products
- Assist with salon operations
Qualifications:
- Cosmetology License and/or Barber License (licensing requirements vary by state)
- Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients
Compensation:
- Guaranteed Hourly Wage Base plus the following:
- Excellent Tips!
- Productivity Bonus
- Night/Weekend Shift Differentials (extra $5 per hour on Sundays, extra $2 per hour on Saturdays, extra $2 per hour for closing shifts).
- Product Sales Bonus
- Yearly Wage Increases
- (Your effective hourly wage can range from $15-$33/hr and this range doesn't even include any tips or product sale bonus that you've earned!)
