Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Pressman / Print Production Associate to join our vibrant print team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating digital printing presses and supporting various print production processes to deliver high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will help ensure efficient workflow, precise color management, and top-notch quality control, all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Operate digital printing presses and related industrial equipment with precision and efficiency, ensuring consistent quality throughout each print run
- Manage color calibration and color management processes to achieve accurate and vibrant results in printed materials, calibrate digital presses and large format printers weekly
- Assist with some prepress tasks such as layout design, typography adjustments, and preparing files using Adobe Creative Suite software
- Conduct routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on press machinery including Konica Minolta presses, CNC equipment, and other manufacturing tools
- Perform cutting, paper binding, and finishing operations to prepare final products for delivery
- Implement quality control measures by inspecting prints for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality standards
- Support the setup and operation of specialized printing techniques such as screen printing and flexo printing when required
Skills
- Strong technical proficiency in press operation, industrial equipment adjustment, and manufacturing processes
- Experience Konica Minolta digital presses & Wide Format machines such as the Rolland series is required
- Experience with digital printing technology, including color management systems and prepress workflows
- Knowledge of graphic design principles, layout design, typography, and print production
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for file preparation and editing
- Ability to operate cutting machines, CNC equipment, and perform machining tasks safely
- Skilled in quality control procedures to ensure high standards in all printed materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
- Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to workflow efficiency
- Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously and work efficiently under deadline pressure is a must
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
