Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment in accordance with infection prevention management procedures.
- Assist dental hygienists during patient cleanings, periodontal treatments, and other hygiene procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take dental x-rays, including intraoral images and 3D scans, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures aligned with general dentistry principles.
- Maintain dental sterilization procedures for instruments and equipment to uphold infection control standards across the clinic.
Experience
- Proficiency with dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, and dental x-ray techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control policies, aseptic techniques, and clinical confidentiality policies is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
