Our menu features a delightful selection of gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, and made-from-scratch desserts, all served in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server(s) to join our team(family) at Draper Mercantile. In this role, you will provide outstanding service to our guests while ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining our reputation for quality and hospitality. Having service and hospitality experience a huge plus. Expo and food presentation experience a strong positive. Paid training.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly and attentive demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients or preparation methods.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance service skills.
- Food presentation and strong communications.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills for effective guest interaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is a plus.
