Langway Toyota/Nissan of Newport looking for a Parts Advisor. We are looking for a candidate that fits the following qualifications:
- Client-oriented
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Strong communication with both clients and team
- Understanding and implementation of dealership systems and processes
- Strong work ethic and a “do-the-right-thing” attitude
Responsibilities include:
- Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership.
- Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock.
- Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department and collision repair shop.
- Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time, and completing the appropriate record keeping.
- Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the callers inquiry.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
Local candidates preferred.
Prior experience in automotive service preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation based on experience.
