This contract assignment offers the chance to work in two school-based OT positions, both located in the scenic South End of the county. Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland OT license required
- Previous experience delivering school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to developing individual education plans (IEPs) and monitoring progress
- Ability to adapt and work effectively with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on therapy plans and outcomes
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and school staff to foster student growth
- Document services provided and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of skills across settings
Assignment Details:
- Contract position beginning August 10th, 2026, and ending June 17th, 2027
- Two full-time roles, both focused in the southern region of the county
