Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems on an industrial site. Your expertise will help ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
- Measure, mark, and prepare installation sites for fence posts, panels, gates, and other components.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, assemble, and install fencing materials such chain link or metal.
- Perform heavy lifting of fencing materials and building components while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure fastening of fence posts, panels, and hardware for long-lasting results.
- Handle construction materials responsibly, including transporting supplies to the work site and managing inventory.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures related to construction site operations and power tool use.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or frame carpentry with a focus on fence installation or related construction projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, levels, post drivers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Knowledge of construction material handling techniques for outdoor work environments.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with safety protocols including power tool safety, site safety procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during project completion.
- Construction site experience with outdoor work environments is preferred.
