Job Overview
Aircraft Fabrication Specialist (AFS) is seeking a motivated Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Carson City, Nevada.
This is a unique opportunity to work on rare and historic aircraft while learning advanced sheet metal fabrication, structural repair, restoration, and aircraft construction techniques that few mechanics ever experience.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of aircraft airframes, engines, and systems in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and industry standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, avionics, and structural issues using schematics, CAD drawings, and technical manuals.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and modifications utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, calipers, micrometers, ohmmeters, ammeters, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Assemble aircraft components and systems following detailed schematics and manufacturing specifications.
- Execute fabrication tasks such as sheet metal work, welding, soldering, and equipment repair to support aircraft integrity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle maintenance procedures, and aviation regulations during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications
- No prior work experience required.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
- Recent graduates of FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance programs, aviation maintenance students nearing graduation, and military aviation maintenance personnel are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
